19
Special Meeting - September 22, 1970
A special meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety convened at 7:40 P.M.
on September 22, 1970. Present were S. J. Crumpacker, City Attorney, and
James A. Bickel, City Controller. Mr. Bickel acted as chairman of the meeting.
Also present were John Worley of Clyde E. Williams and Associates, Inc., and
approximately 16 interested residents.
HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3325 - ALLEY BETWEEN HUEY AND O'BRIEN
Having been continued from September 8, 1970, hearing was resumed on Improve-
ment Resolution No. 3325, for the improvement of the alley between Huey and
O'Brien Streets, from Humboldt Street north to the Tee end, by.constructing a
Class C, Type I concrete pavement.
Mr. Worley reported a study has been made of the drainage problem at either end
of the alley and that the fall appears to be sufficient so that there need be
no inlet at Himboldt Street, and that the fall at the other end also appears
to be sufficient but there can be no assurance that water would not collect
there, and that the proper thing to do would be to pave the east -west alley.
Following further discussion regarding the paving of the two alleys, upon
motion made, seconded and carried, the hearing was continued until 9:30
A.M. on September 28, 1970.
There being no further business to come before the Board the meeting adjourned
at 8:35 P.M.
ATTE
Clo
Clerk
James B' el
J. Crumpacker
1
