<br />A.M., with all members present.
<br />BIDS OPENED FOR STREET MATERIALS
<br />This being the date set for receiving bids for the following street materials:
<br />Item #1 - 35,000 tons hot asphaltic concrete
<br />Item #2 - 12,000 tons limestone aggregate
<br />Item #3 - 275,000 gallons emulsified asphalt
<br />Item #4 - 220,000,gallons dust control oil
<br />Item #5 - 40,000, tons var4o0s^graVdts and-+idelcontrol sand
<br />Item #6 - 900.tons .street patching material
<br />Item #7 - 250 cubic yards ready -mix concrete (Class A)
<br />100 Cubic yards ready -mix concrete (Class B)
<br />the Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune
<br />and the Tri County News on February 20 and February 27, 1970, which were read
<br />and found to be proper. The following bids were received
<br />American Oil Company, Research and Development Building, 2500 New York Avenue,
<br />Whiting, Indiana. Non collusion affidavit was found to be proper. Bid was
<br />accompanied by a proposal bond in the amount of $2500.00. Bid being:
<br />Item #4 - 220,000 gallons cut back asphalt and road oil
<br />SC grade @ 11.60� per gal.
<br />Me grade @ 12.60t per gal.
<br />RC grade @ 12.85fi per gal.
<br />Bitucote Products Co., 1824,Knox Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri, 63139. Non
<br />collusion affidavit was found to be proper. Bid was accompanied by a bid bond
<br />in the amount of $5,378.00. Bid being:
