Noble, Clerk Dated this 5th day of September, 1972 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the above two Resolutions were <br />adopted and referred to the Bureau of Engineering. <br />�., WEED COMPLAINTS <br />Notices were received from the St. Joseph County Health Department relative <br />to weed complaints, wherein notices have been sent, but have been distegarded, <br />also notice of lots where weeds are growing that belong to the city. Upon <br />motion made, seconded and carried, these were referred to the Legal Department <br />for appropriate action. <br />PETITION OF CHICAGO, SOUTH SHORE AND SOUTH BEND RAILROAD COMPANY <br />Notice was received that a petition from the Chicago, South Shore, and South <br />Bend Railroad Company for abandonment of automatic crossing gates at Birdsell <br />and Walnut Streets in South Bend had been sent to the Public Service Comm- <br />ission of Indiana. Upon motion made, seconded and carried this was ordered <br />filed. <br />WEIGHTS AND MEASURES REPORT Mr. Bert Cichowicz, City Sealer, appeared before <br />the Board and presented his report for the month of August, 1972. This was <br />ordered filed. <br />CHANGE ORDER FOR MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM <br />Upon motion made; seconded and carried, the Board approved change order G-2 <br />for the Aulm Construction Company, to furnish labor, material and equipment <br />to repair all fire escapes on the North elevation of the auditorium. All.;:: <br />work to be done during regular working hours at a cost of $1,716.00. <br />TRAFFIC CONTRL DEVICES <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried the Board accepted the recommendation <br />from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting to remove a Yield sign on Bonds <br />Avenue at the intersection of Meade Street for Eastbound traffic and revise <br />it to install a stop sign at that intersection. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board accepted the recommendation <br />of the Bureau of Traffic and approved the installation of a Stop sign on <br />Boston Drive at Linden. <br />CONTRACTORS BOND APPROVED FOR GLENN R. NUNEMAKER d/b/a NUNEMAKER CONSTRUCTION <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved a Contractor's Bond <br />in the amount of $1,000.00 for Glenn R. Nunemaker d/b/a Nunemaker Construction <br />to August 25, 1973. <br />
