Noble, Clerk Dated this 5th day of September, 1972 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the above two Resolutions were adopted and referred to the Bureau of Engineering. �., WEED COMPLAINTS Notices were received from the St. Joseph County Health Department relative to weed complaints, wherein notices have been sent, but have been distegarded, also notice of lots where weeds are growing that belong to the city. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, these were referred to the Legal Department for appropriate action. PETITION OF CHICAGO, SOUTH SHORE AND SOUTH BEND RAILROAD COMPANY Notice was received that a petition from the Chicago, South Shore, and South Bend Railroad Company for abandonment of automatic crossing gates at Birdsell and Walnut Streets in South Bend had been sent to the Public Service Comm- ission of Indiana. Upon motion made, seconded and carried this was ordered filed. WEIGHTS AND MEASURES REPORT Mr. Bert Cichowicz, City Sealer, appeared before the Board and presented his report for the month of August, 1972. This was ordered filed. CHANGE ORDER FOR MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM Upon motion made; seconded and carried, the Board approved change order G-2 for the Aulm Construction Company, to furnish labor, material and equipment to repair all fire escapes on the North elevation of the auditorium. All.;:: work to be done during regular working hours at a cost of $1,716.00. TRAFFIC CONTRL DEVICES Upon motion made, seconded and carried the Board accepted the recommendation from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting to remove a Yield sign on Bonds Avenue at the intersection of Meade Street for Eastbound traffic and revise it to install a stop sign at that intersection. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board accepted the recommendation of the Bureau of Traffic and approved the installation of a Stop sign on Boston Drive at Linden. CONTRACTORS BOND APPROVED FOR GLENN R. NUNEMAKER d/b/a NUNEMAKER CONSTRUCTION Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved a Contractor's Bond in the amount of $1,000.00 for Glenn R. Nunemaker d/b/a Nunemaker Construction to August 25, 1973.
