8/14/72 <br />ADOPTION OF VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3367,1972 - EDGEWOOD DRIVE <br />Area Plan Commission having filed with the Board its favorable re- <br />commendation for the vacation a 30' street known as Edgewood DtTve <br />running north from Edison Road and located adjacent to and immediate- <br />ly west of Lots No. 1-9-10-11, as shown on the recorded plat of <br />Robinwood Place „Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, <br />the Board adopte the following resolution; <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3367,1972 <br />RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, That it is desirable to vacate the <br />following: <br />a 30' street known as Edgewood Drive, running <br />North from Edison Road and located adjacent to <br />and immediately West of Lots No. 1-9-10-11, as <br />shown on the recorded plat of Robinwood Place. <br />Reserving the rights and easements of all Utilities and <br />the Munhtipal City of South Bend, Indiana, to construct and maintain <br />any facilities, including, but not limited to, the following: electric, <br />telephone, gas, water, sewer, surface water control structures and <br />ditches, within the yacated right of way, unless such rights are re- <br />leased by the individual Utilities. <br />The following property may be injuriously or beneficially <br />affected by such vacationt <br />Lots 1, 9, 10 and 11 of Robinwood Place. <br />Notice of this Resolution shall be published on the 18th <br />day of August and on.ahe 25th day of August, 1972, in the South <br />Bend Tribune and the_Tri County News. <br />This Board at its office, on the 28th day of August, 1972, <br />at 9:30 o'clock A.M., will hear and receive remonstrances from all <br />persons interested in or affected by these proceedings. <br />Adopted this 14th day of August, 1972. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY <br />s/ Charles A. Richardson, City Engineer, presented a request that bids <br />be received on R&S 49 Bendix Drive Pavement Improvement. Upon motion <br />made, seconded and carried, the Clerk was directed to advertise for <br />bids on the above project, with bids returnable on August 28, 1972. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3365,1972 CONFIRMED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3365,1972 <br />For the improvement of North Ironwood Drive under Improvement <br />Resolution No. 3365,1972, adopted July 10, 1972 from approximately 200 <br />feet south of Bader Avenue to Corby Street by constructing a public <br />sidwalk. <br />After hearing all persons interested who appeared and being <br />fully advised on the premises and the Clerk of the Board having shown <br />proofs of publication of the notices to property owners and the same <br />having been found sufficient, the Board decides that the benefits tothe <br />property liable to be assessed for said improvement areequal to the . <br />estimated cost of the same as reported by the City Civil Engineer, now <br />
