7/17/72 <br />372. <br />1 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the bid was referred <br />to the Fire Chief for study. <br />BIDS OPENED - FIRE TRUCKS <br />This being the date set for receiving bids for Pumpers for the Fire <br />Department, the Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the <br />South Bend Tribune and the Tel County News which were found to be <br />sufficlent, and the following bids were opened and read: <br />Michiana Mack, Inc., <br />2802 Home Street <br />Mishawaka, Indiana, 46544 <br />3 Mack Custom Deluxe CF685F (12) 1250 GPM Triple <br />Combination Pumper in accordance with city's <br />Specifications Cash $52,472.00 $157,416.00 <br />Lease <br />Lease purchase annual payments <br />$60,000.00 on Delivery and Acceptance <br />$35,571.07 1974 <br />$35,571.07 1975 <br />$35,571.07 1976 <br />$1.00 to be added to <br />last payment for title. <br />Lease Purchase Semi -Annual Payments <br />$60,000.00 on Delivery and Acceptance <br />Six (6) Semi -Annual Payments of $17,597.24 <br />Plus $1.00 to be added to last payment for title <br />F.O.BO. Cash $47,000.00 <br />3 or more sets Midwest -Howe Custom fire apparatus <br />pumpers, Model No. HR-122 mounted on a Ford L-9000 <br />chassis with a Cummins HCT350 diesel, 350 H.P. with <br />930 Ft.-lbs. of torque at 1,600 R.P.M.
