341, <br />6/12/72 <br />At the present time there is.little use of the curb space for parking <br />on this facility. Where there is a deficiency, the owners of property <br />have been contacted and time will be allowed for them to provide <br />parking facilities either by off-street or re -location. <br />It is recommended that the attached proposal be executed and forwarded <br />to the Indiana State Highway Commission, P.O. Box 429, LaPorte, Indiana." <br />Upon motlon made, seconded and carried, the proposal to ~make the <br />proposed change in parking on Lincoln Way East was executed. <br />PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT - FAIRFAX ESTATES, SECTION 2 <br />A project completion affidavit for pavements, curbs, sanitary sewer <br />and storm sewers was approved by the Board for Fairfax Estates No. 2. <br />PETITION TO CLOSE ALLEY TO TRAFFIC <br />A petition bearing fourteen signatures was presented to the Board <br />asking that the first east -west alley south of Indiana Avenue between <br />Main and Michigan Streets be closed to traffic between the hours of <br />8:00 P.M. and 6:00 A.M. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, <br />this was referred to the Bureau of Traffic for study and report. <br />U <br />U <br />CONTINUATION CERTIFICATE - WILLIE'S CONSTRUCTION COMPANY <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, a continuation certificate <br />for a Contractor's bond for Willie's Construction Company to June <br />8, 1973 was approved by the,Board. <br />PERFORMANCE BOND AND MAINTANANCE BOND - RIETH-RILEY COMPANY <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, a Performace Bond <br />and a Maintenance Bond for Rieth-Riley Construction Company was <br />approved for Fairfax Estates for a periof of three years to June 1, <br />1975. <br />PETITION FOR STREET LIGHT - 500 BLOCK SOUTH CARLISLE STREET <br />Walter Kopszynski, City Councilman, sent in a letter with petition <br />attached bearing thirteen signatures asking for the installation of <br />a street light in the 500 block South Carlisle Street. Upon motion <br />made, seconded and carried, this was referred to the Bureau of Traffic <br />and lighting for study and report. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT <br />Street light outage reports were ordered filed for the perios of 5/30/72 <br />to 6/7/72 <br />NEXT MEETING JUNE 26, 1972 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board moved the <br />next meeting will be June 26, 1972. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon motion <br />made, seconded and carried, the meeting was ad <br />urned at 10:40 A.M.; <br />es 9. <br />W i l l i am J./-i chardson <br />ATTEST: <br />-,&, Az <br />Clerk <br />
