1264 <br />April 5, 1972 <br />A special meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety was convened <br />at 9:30 A.M. on Wednesday, April 5, 1972. All imembers,of the Board were <br />present. <br />The meeting was convened`for the purpose'of hearing charges against <br />William Vessele Stoynoff. Also present were Robert M. Parker and <br />Lewis Laderer, Attorneys for the'City, and the ©efendent in person and <br />by his Attorney, Irving J. Smith. <br />Attorney Smith asked to be heard, and leave was granted. Attorney <br />Smith entered a plea of guilty to Counts 1, 2, 3 and 4, and respect- <br />fully requested consideration from the Board In assessing penalty. <br />Attorney Parker made a statement on charges of the City. <br />The Board on the recommendation of Police Chief Robert Seals, assesses <br />penalty as six months suspension without pay,'from Februaryr6, 1972, <br />and places Corporal Stoynoff on probation for a period of two years <br />from the day he is reinstated on the duty roster.
