OCTOBER 1. 1973 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />APPROVAL OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />The Board.received a recommendation from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting for <br />the installation of No Parking signs in the 1100 and 1200 Block of East Calvert <br />Street.; because of the increased volume of traffic and the narrowness of the <br />street. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the installation. <br />REQUEST FOR STREET -LIGHT <br />The Board received a request from Councilman Walter Kopczynski for the installation <br />of a street lmght mid -block on Dunham Street between Bendix Drive and Liberty <br />Street. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the request was referred to the <br />Bureau of Traffic and Lighting for review and recommendation. <br />APPROVAL OF BONDS <br />Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board that he had <br />reviewed the following bonds and they were in order: <br />Excavation Bond for Joe Procaccino, Inc. to 9/25/74 <br />Continuation of Contractor's Bond for John Wright & Sons to 12/31/73 <br />Continuation of Contractor's Bond for Charles McEndarfer to 9/25/74 <br />Continuation of Contractor's Bond for George F. Ebright <br />d/b/a Ebright Brothers Construction to 10/14/74 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the bonds to the dates <br />listed. <br />APPROVAL OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE - WOODRUFF AND SONS INC. <br />The Board received a Certificate of Insurance from Woodruff and Sons, Inc. <br />Patrick McMahon, Manager, Bureau of Public Construction, advised the Board that <br />this Certificate of Insurance was filed to extend the Certificate which was <br />filed with the contract documents for the Airport Industrial Park, Phase III. <br />This certificate will extend coverage until 4/l/74. Upon motion made, seconded <br />and carried, the Board approved the Certificate. <br />APPROVAL OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE - VALLEY CABLEVISION COMPANY <br />The Board received a Certificate of Insurance from Valley Cablevision Company <br />with a recommendation from Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, that this <br />Certificate replaces one now on file with the Board and extends coverage to <br />10/3/74 and'`7/6/76. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved <br />the Certificate. <br />APPROVAL OF STREET LIGHT INSTALLATIONS <br />The Board received the following recommendations from the Bureau of Traffic <br />and Lighting for installation of street lights: <br />A. Mid -block light on College, between Sibley and Florence: 7,000L <br />MV OH WP - Cost $3.75/mo. or $45.00/yr. Upon motion made, seconded <br />and carried the Board approved the installation. <br />B. Mid -block light on Hill Street, north of Ridgedale: 7,000L MV <br />OH WP - Cost, $3.75/mo. or $45.00/yr. Upon motion made, seconded <br />and carried the Board approved the installation. <br />C. Huron intersections with Albert, Edison and Gladstone: install <br />three Traditionaires - Cost $36.00/mo. or $432.00/yr. Uponnmotion <br />made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the installation <br />
