REGULAR MEETING <br />JUNE 1, 1973 <br />271 <br />1 <br />1 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:30 a.m. on <br />Monday, June 11, 1973 with Mr. Barcome and Mr. Seitz present. Mr. Rollin E. <br />Farrand, who will become the new Director of Public Works succeeding Mr. Rich- <br />ardson, was also present. Minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and approved. <br />SWEARING IN OF ROLLIN E. FARRAND AS DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />Mr. Rollin E. Farrand, Sr. was sworn in as Director of Public Works with the <br />oath administered by Mrs. Irene Gammon, City Clerk. Mr. Farrand will take <br />over next Monday as Chairman of the Board. Mayor Jerry J. Miller commented <br />that Mr. Farrand has a great responsibility to fill and a most demanding one as <br />far as the community is concerned. Mr. Farrand was selected from a number of <br />42 applicants from thirty States. Mayor Miller commented he is pleased to <br />have Rollin Farrand in this position. <br />BID OPENING - KEY CONTROLLED FUEL DISPENSING SYSTEM <br />This being the date set for receiving bids <br />ing System, the following bids were opened <br />tendered proofs of publication in the South <br />News which were found to be sufficient. <br />William M. Wilson's Sons, Inc. <br />Lansdale, Pa. 19446 <br />2 GASBOY-KEYTROL Model 52K90 <br />(90 lock -totalizers each) and <br />1 Model 52K30 (30 lock totalizers.) <br />for a Key -Controlled Fuel Dispens- <br />and publicly read, the Clerk having <br />Bend Tribune and the Tri-County <br />Bid was signed by Howard R. Ewan, <br />non -collusion affidavit was in <br />order and certified check in the <br />amount of $565.00 accompanied the bid. <br />Total price $6,474.87 <br />"Keegard" by Petro Vend, Inc. <br />P.O.
