2/5/73 <br />CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE - RIETH-RILEY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC. <br />A Certificate of Insurance for Rieth-Riley Construction Company, Inc. was referred <br />to the Department of Law for investigation of the certificate before Board approval. <br />EXCAVATION BOND CONTINUATION CERTIFICATES FILED <br />Excavation Bond Continuation Certificates were received from Charles F. Stickler <br />and Earl C. DeVan and were referred to the Bureau of Administration and Design <br />for investigation and report. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT <br />Street Light outage report for the period from 1/26/73 to 2/2/73 were received <br />and ordered filed. <br />IRELAND ROAD SEWER EXTENSION PLANS <br />Plans for the Ireland Road Sewer Extension Project were, upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, approved by the Board. <br />REQUEST FOR BIDS - BUREAU OF STREETS <br />A request was received from Mr. Donald Decker, Director, Bureau of Streets, to <br />advertise for bids for one asphalt paver, one bituminous distributor and eight <br />single axle dump trucks. Upon motion made, seconddd and carried, the Board <br />instructed the Clerk to advertise for bids February 9 and 16, 1973, with bids to <br />be received on February 26, 1973. <br />CHANGE ORDER NO. 6 - WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT ADDITIONS <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved Change Order No. 6 <br />to Sollitt Construction Company in the total amount of $4,007.64 for additional <br />work in Division A, Wastewater Treatment Plant Additions.,_ Mr: Thomas Hurdle, of <br />Clyde Williams & Associates, explained to the Board that this covers additional <br />work required at the 72" primary effluent pipe for installing new stop planes <br />and for the installation of sludge density meters. <br />LETTER OF OFFERING - IMPROVEMENT -RIVERSIDE DRIVE SEWER <br />The Board received a letter of offering from Engineering Planning Services, Inc. <br />to perform the necessary field work, engineering and drafting to prepare the <br />construction plans for an improvement to the sewer on Riverside Drive near the <br />Darden Road Bridge, for a total fee of $500.00. Upon motion made, seconded and <br />carried, the Board accepted the letter of offering. <br />AGREEMENT - COLE ASSOCIATES RE: INTERSECTIONS ON IRELAND ROAD <br />The Board approved an agreement with Cole Associates, Inc. for street improvements <br />at the intersections of Ireland Road with Miami Street, Fellows Street and St. <br />Joseph Street, at a maximum project cost of $25,800.00. This work is being <br />necessitated by the increased traffic expected with the opening of the Scottsdale <br />Mall. Mr. Richardson explained that this will be a long-range program and they <br />will be inter -connected signals. <br />INTRODUCTION OF MR. JAMES GUARINO <br />Mr. James Roemer, City Attorney, introduced Mr. James Guarino from the University <br />of Notre Dame Government Program who will be working with the City Legal <br />Department. <br />
