<br />1012 South Fellows Street Cora Martindale, 502 East Ohio Street,
<br />South Bend, Indiana having been requested to appear before the Board
<br />to show cause why the property should not be demolished at 1012
<br />South Fellows Street, and Cora Martindale not having appeared, Mr.
<br />Steed informed the Board that Marie Eisele had written for her aunt
<br />Mrs. Martindale, stating she had no interest in the property. Upon
<br />motion made, seconded and carried, the Board authorized Mr. Steed
<br />to seek bids for the demolition of the structure.
<br />1216 Whiteman Court Elizabeth Weber, 328 Weber Street, South Bend,
<br />Indiana, haveing been requested to appear before the Board and
<br />Elizabeth Weber not having appeared to show cause why the structure
<br />at 1216 Whiteman Court should not be demolished, the Board, upon
<br />motion made, seconded and carried, authorized Mr. Steed to seek bids
<br />for the demolition of the structure.
<br />110-112 South Taylor Street, Accessory Building George P. Roberts,
<br />Attorney at Law, 811 J.M.S. Building, South Bend, Indiana and Pat-
<br />rick Myers, 1023 East LaSalle Avenue, South Bend, Indiana were re-
<br />quested to appear before the Board to show cause why the accessory
<br />building at 110-112 South Taylor Street should not be demolished.
<br />No one having appeared, the Board, upon motion made, seconded and
<br />carried, authorized Mr. Steed to seek bids for the demolition of
<br />the property.
<br />1528 South Kendall Street Frank B. Wells, 1119 Blaine Avenue,
<br />South Bend, Indiana, having been requested to appear before the
<br />Board to show cause why the structure at 1528 South Kendall Street,
<br />should not be demolished and Frank Wells not having appeared, the
<br />Board, upon motion made, seconded and carried, authorized Mr.
<br />Steed to seek bids for the demolition of the property.
<br />1122 East Bissell Street Mr. Steed requested that this matter be
<br />continued for one week, and the Board granted his request.
<br />428 North Main Street Accessory Building John Dunnuck, Trustee
<br />of the Samuel Ru. Dunnuck Estate, 421 East Madison Street, South
<br />Bend, Indiana, appeared as requested to show cause why the structure
<br />at 428 North Main Street should not be demolished. Mr. Dunnuck
<br />stated that the property had been put up for sale and the contract
<br />had a period of three and one half months to run. He requested a
<br />continuance for theat period. The Board reminded him that complaints
<br />had been received about the condition of the building since 1966 and
<br />no attempt had been made to repair it. Upon motion made, seconded
<br />and carried, Mr. Steed was authorized to seek bids for the demoli-
<br />tion of the accessory building at 428 North Main Street.
<br />2221 West Smith Street Gartha Lee Wlliott, 2202 South Kemble
<br />Street, South Bend, Indiana, had been requested by certified mail
<br />to appear before the Board to show cause why the structure at
<br />2221 West Smith Street should not be.demolished, and no receipts
<br />having been received to show the letter was received, the matter is
<br />continued for one week.
<br />202 East Calvert Street The matter of the sub -standard condition
<br />of the structure at 202 East Calvert Street, the Board now, upon
<br />motion made, seconded and carried, authorized Mr. Steed to seek
<br />bids for the demolition of the structure.
<br />1205 Dunham Street Mr. Joseph Becchilli., 825 South Liberty Street
<br />appeared before the Board and stated he is working on the building
<br />at 1205 Dunham Street. The Board, upon motion made seconded and
<br />carried, directed that Mr. Becchilli should return next week with
<br />signed contracts for the work to be done to bring the house up to
<br />standard.
