3` 1 <br />SPECIAL'.MEETING APRIL 29, 1975 <br />A Special Meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at <br />3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29 with Mr. Farrand and Mr. Barcome <br />present. The purpose of the Special Meeting was to consider an <br />application for River Bend Plaza. <br />APPLICATION OF NEMETH FOR MAYOR COMMITTEE APPROVED <br />An application from the Nemeth for mayor Committee was, received <br />by the Board and referred to Mr. Wilcox for additional information, <br />Mr. Wilcox contacted a representative of the Committee and it was <br />learned that they planned to conduct a pep rally with skits and a <br />band on Sunday, May 4 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on River Bend Plaza. <br />Kathleen Cekanski, Deputy City Attorney, recommended to the Board <br />that the application could be approved with the condition that the <br />rally be conducted in such a manner so as not to adversely affect <br />pedestrian safety or cause congestion or traffic interruption and <br />that all activity be consistent with the Noise Pollution Ordinance <br />of the City. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the <br />application with the stipulation that the activity be conducted <br />in such a manner so as not to adversely affect pedestrian safety <br />or cause congestion or_traffic interruption and that the activity <br />must be consistent with the Noise Pollution Ordinance of the City. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Special Meeting <br />adjourned at 3:35 p.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />CLERK <br />';� Z�J" -h 11 <br />ollin E.
