REGULAR MEETING <br />DECEMBER 9, 1974 <br />AMENDMENT TO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE TEAMSTERS <br />AND THE BUREAU OF WASTEWATER APPROVED <br />An amendment to the.Memorandum of Understanding between the Teamsters <br />and the Bureau of Wastewater covering vacation schedules and the <br />salary schedule was submitted to the Board with the recommendation <br />of the City Attorney that the amendment be approved. Upon motion <br />made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the amendment. <br />LEASE AGREEMENT TABLED <br />The Board received a lease agreement for the rental of city -owned <br />property at 743 Western Avenue. The lease is a one-year lease <br />between the City.of South Bend and Doyle and Jimmye Rodeman, with a <br />yearly rental of $2,040.00. The lease extends until November 30, <br />1975 and can be terminated upon sixty days written notice by either <br />party. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the lease was tabled <br />until December 16 and was referred to Mr. Farrand for review. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon <br />motion made, seconded and carried, the meeting adourned at 10:15 a.m. <br />o lin E. Farrand <br />ATTEST: <br />CLERK <br />SPECIAL MEETING DECEMBER. 10, 1974 <br />A special meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at <br />8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 1974 by Chairman Rollin Farrand <br />with all members present. <br />CONTRACT WITH ARCHITECT FOR CIVIC CENTER REAFFIRMED <br />Mr. Farrand made the following motion: "Resolved that the Board of <br />Public Works reaffirm the acceptance of the contract entered into <br />on May 25, 1973 between the Civic Center Authority and Johnson-Burgee <br />Architect and that all acts are retroactively confirmed, ratified <br />and approved. The motion was seconded and unanimously carried. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon motion <br />made, seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned at 8:35 a.m. <br />
