1 <br />1 <br />I <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />JULY 1, 1974 <br />the signalization work and go with a temporary signal system, <br />working with change orders in the contract. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, the Board accepted the low bid of the <br />Rieth Riley Construction Company of $109,282,60 for the Angela - <br />North Michigan intersection improvement and signal modernization <br />project, subject to approval of the funds and with the City Engineer <br />designated to negotiate with the contractor to reduce the scope <br />and service of the contract within the appropriation. <br />AWARDING OF BID - MISHAWAKA AVENUE SIGNALIZATION <br />Rollin E. Farrand, Director of Public Works, made a verbal recommendation <br />to the Board that the low bid of the Morse Electric Company be accepted <br />for the Mishawaka Avenue Signalization project. Mr. Farrand said the <br />base bid is within the appropriation and the Board should accept the <br />base bid. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board accepted <br />the bid of the Morse Electric Company of $41,492.30, which was the <br />low bid, for the Mishawaka Avenue Signalization Project. No alternates <br />were accepted. <br />MIAMI-RIDGEDALE SIGNALIZATION PROJECT <br />Mr. Barcome inquired about the status of the Miami-Ridgedale <br />signalization project.
