REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 28, 1974 <br />EXTRA WORK AGREEMENT APPROVED <br />The Board received an Extra Work Agreement covering the Type D Manhol.es, <br />for Topics Project 6000 (7), the McKinley -Logan project. The cost of the <br />extra work agreement is $4,900.00. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, <br />the Board approved the extra work agreement. <br />REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR CITY VEHICLES <br />Mr. Farrand presented to the Board a list of City vehicles for which he would <br />like to advertise for bids. The list covers various City departments and <br />would be for approximately 60 vehicles. Mr. Barcome explained that the City <br />is trying to go to a fleet purchase program to buy vehicles in quantity to <br />see if they can save money. Economy cars will be purchased, rather than those <br />with a larger wheel base. The exception is the Police Department vehicles <br />which require special equipment. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, <br />the Board directed the Clerk to advertise for bids as soon as all the <br />specifications are on file. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon motion made, <br />C seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned at 10:25 a.m. <br />C� <br />W <br />W <br />ATTEST: U <br />CLERK <br />n <br />.
