z <br />REGULAR MEETING JUNE 1, 1976 <br />TAXI LICENSE APPLICATION DENIED ROBERT KLOPENSTINE <br />The Board received a recommendation from Peter H. Mullen, City <br />Controller, that the application of Robert Klopenstine for a Taxi <br />License had been reviewed and he recommended the application be <br />denied. Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded,by Mr. Mullen <br />and carried, the Board'approved the`recommendation and denied the <br />application. <br />TAXI LICENSE APPLICATION TABLED - FREDERICK JACKSON <br />The Board received a recommendation from Peter H. Mullen, City <br />Controller, that the application of Frederick_ Jackson for a Taxi <br />License be tabled until next Monday, June 7 and that Mr. Jackson be <br />asked to appear before the Board to give them information in support <br />of his application. Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by <br />Mr. Brunner and carried, the recommendation was approved and the <br />application was tabled until June 7, 1976. <br />APPRAISAL OF PROPERTIES ORDERED <br />Mr. Farrand advised the Board that city -owned properties at 719 E. <br />Wenger Street and 703 N. Frances Street have been declared not needed <br />by the Board of Public'Works by resolution and that resolution <br />received the concurrence of the Common Council. The properties are <br />now ready for appraisal. Upon"motion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded <br />by Mr. Mullen and carried, the Board directed that the appraisal <br />of the properties be ordered. <br />FILING OF LETTER RE: MODEL CITIES SEWER SEPARATION PROJECT <br />The Board received a letter from Stephen J. Havens of the Department <br />of Housing and Urban Development in Indianapolis stating that the <br />Department concurs in the proposed award of the'contract for the <br />Model Cities Sewer Separation Project to Loitz Brothers Construction <br />Company Farrand, de <br />secondedtotal bid pbycMr. Mullene of 2and6carrried, the.88.
