<br />REGULAR MEETING MAY 17, 1976
<br />BONDS RELEASED
<br />Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board
<br />that requests had been received from surety companies for the
<br />release of the following bonds:
<br />Bartolini Excavating Co. Excavation Bond No. 1367 082
<br />i
<br />Robert L. Stickler, Excavation Bond No. 1 401 20
<br />Leon Yoder Custom Homes, Contractor's Bond No. 40-207715
<br />Mr. Andrysiak said the bonds have been reviewed and the contractors
<br />have no outstanding permits or claims against them. He recommended
<br />that the Board release the bonds. Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand,
<br />seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the bonds listed above were
<br />released, effective May 17, 1976.
<br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED
<br />The Street Light Outage Report for the period of May 10 through
<br />14 was received. The report indicated 22 outages. Upon motion
<br />made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the
<br />report was ordered,f iled.
<br />TITLE SHEET APPROVING PLANS FOR SOUTHEAST PARK APPROVED
<br />The Title Sheet approving the plans for Southeast Park was
<br />submitted to the Board. David Wells, Manager of the Bureau of
<br />Design and Administration, informed the Board that this project
<br />C was designed by the Bureau of Design and Administration and,:
<br />for that reason, is being submitted to the Board for approval.
<br />Further action on the project will be taken by the Board of Park.
<br />Commissioners. The Department of Public Works will be inspecting
<br />the project. Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded Iby Mr.
<br />Mullen and carried, the title sheet approving the plans for the
<br />Southeast Park project was signed by the Board.
<br />STREET LIGHT INSTALLATIONS APPROVED
<br />Ralph Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting,
<br />submitted the following recommendation for street light
<br />installations to the Board:
<br />A. Clayton Drive. Install five 7,000L, Mv,OH, WP @ $4.78 mo.
<br />Replace a 4,000L, OH, WP with a 7,000L
<br />MV, OH, WP - net increase of $1.147 mo.
<br />Total increase $25.057/mo. or $300.68/yr.
<br />B. Kevin Court Install a 7,000L, MV, OH, WP @ $4.782/mo.
<br />or $57.38/yr.
<br />C. York Road Replace three 4,000L, INC, OH, WP with
<br />three 7,000L, MV, OH, WP @ $1.147 increase/mo.
<br />Total increase $3.441/mo. or $41.29/yr.
<br />Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Brunner and
<br />carried, the installations were approved.
<br />REQUEST TO PURCHASE PROPERTY AT 711 LA PORTE RECEIVED
<br />The Board received a letter from Richard Ludwick expressing an
<br />interest in purchasing a lot at 711 LaPorte Avenue. Upon motion
<br />made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the
<br />request was filed and referred to the Department of Public Works
<br />and the Department of Redevelopment for review and recommendation.
