SPECIAL 14EETING <br />1 <br />MAY 3, 1976 <br />A special meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at <br />12:05 p.m, on Monday, May.3, 1976 by President Rollin Farrand <br />with Mr. Farrand and Mr. Mullen present. <br />APPROVAL OF OPEN AIR STAND - OLIVE AND SAMPLE, RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY <br />The Board received an application from R. D. Griffin to operate <br />an Open Air Stand on railroad right-of-way property at the corner <br />of Olive and Sample Street. Mr. Griffin has a proposed lease <br />agreement with Conrail for the use of the property. The Clerk of <br />the Board verified by telephone with Mr. Koller, Real Estate Officer <br />of the Conrail Chicago office, that they have agreed to accept a <br />$50.00 payment from Mr. Griffin for this lease and will send the <br />Board an executed copy of the lease upon receipt of Mr. Griffin's <br />payment Mr. Griffin advised the Clerk that he has a money order <br />to cover the lease payment which will be mailed to Conrail today. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, <br />the Board approved the Open Air Stand, subject to securing the <br />proper license from the Deputy Controller's Office and to receipt <br />of the executed lease from Conrail. <br />The special meeting was, upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded <br />by Mr. Mullen and carried, adjourned at 12:10 p.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />Patricia DeC ercq, C1 k <br />�Z <br />Rollin E.
