REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 26, 1976 <br />PARKING ZONE ESTABLISHED - 416-W-. LA SALLE <br />Ralph Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />recommended to the Board that a two-hour parking zone from <br />6:00 a.m, to 6:00 p.m., excluding Sundays, be established at <br />416 W. LaSalle to allow for turnover of parking for a business <br />place there. Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. <br />Brunner and carried, the installation was approved. <br />BID AWARDED - R & S 85 SIGNALIZATION PROJECT <br />The Board received a recommendation from Ralph Wadzinski, Manager <br />of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, that the bids for Project <br />R & S 85, the signalization of Ireland and Fellows, Ireland and <br />Miami and Miami and Scottsdale Mall, had been reviewed and he <br />was recommending that the low bid of Morse Electric, Inc. be <br />accepted, subject to funding. Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, <br />seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the recommendation was <br />approved and the Board accepted the low bid of the Morse Electric <br />Company, Inca of $21,764.15 for Project R & S 85 Signalization, <br />subject to approval of the appropriation of the funds. <br />STREET LIGHTING APPROVED <br />Rt The Board received the following recommendation from Ralph Wadzinski, <br />C Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, for installation of <br />street lights: <br />Z.J <br />1. The area of Washington, between Maple and Walnut. Remove <br />8 - 20,000L, 2 - 7,000L and 2 - 4,000L, present monthly <br />billing - $70.12. Install 10 - 50,000L and 3 - 20,000L, <br />pro osed monthly billing - $142.13. Increase - $72.01 per month <br />or U64.12 per year. <br />2. The area of Western, Williams, Monroe and Lafayette. Remove'. <br />29 - 20,000L, present monthly billing - $286.52. Install <br />29 - 502,000L, proposed monthly billing - $517.65. Increase-- <br />$231.13 per month or $2,773.66 per year. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Brunner and <br />carried, the recommendation to install the lighting was approved. <br />REQUEST FOR TEMPORARY ELECTRICAL HOOK-UP APPROVED <br />The Board received a request from Rev. David L. Rowe, Apostolic <br />World Christian Fellowship, Inc., to give permission for a temporary <br />electrical line to furnish electricity to several trailers during <br />a Fellowship on May 4-5-6, 1976 at 2221 S. Ironwood Drive. The <br />request was submitted with the favorable recommendation of Forrest <br />R. West, Building Commissioner. Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, <br />seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the request was approved, subject <br />to the requirements and inspection of the Bureau of Buildings and <br />Permits. <br />
