The totes can easily be wheeled by employees to the recycling compactor. Recycle stickers on the <br />containers will detail what can be recycled. See Sample of the Recycling Sticker. This method of single stream recycling <br />will recycle 90% of the recyclable materials. 90% because recycle bins are contaminated to some degree with trash. <br />We estimate that the recycling recapture ratios The Century Center will be: <br />Plastic <br />10% <br />Cardboard <br />25% <br />Glass <br />5% <br />Paper <br />5% <br />Tin <br />5% <br />Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center, 1522 W. Linden <br />• One (1) 6 yard dumpster trash emptied every other week <br />• One (1) 2 yard co -mingled recycle bin emptied once per month <br />Charles Black Sr Recreation Center/LaSalle Park, 3419 W. Washington <br />• One (1) 6 yard dumpster trash emptied every other week <br />• One (1) 2 yard co -mingled recycle bin emptied once per month <br />After doing a site audit, there is room to put a 2 yard front loader for single stream recycling next to the 6 yard trash bin. <br />Most of the recyclable material in the boxes is cardboard. We estimate the recycling recapture ratios for the two parks <br />to be 90% in the 2 yard co mingled bins. We will provide a 65 gallon plastic wheeled tote at each park for simple <br />delivery of comingled recycle items to the 2 yard front load recycle container. <br />We estimate the recycling recapture rates for the Martin Luther King Jr and Charles Black Sr Center will be: <br />Plastic 5% <br />Cardboard 50% <br />Glass 5% <br />Paper 5% <br />
