SPECIAL MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 18, 1975 <br />A Special Meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at <br />3:15 p.m, on November 18, 1975 by Chairman Rollin E. Farrand <br />with all members present. <br />Mr. Farrand reported to the Board that in accordance with his <br />discussions with Chief Bland, it is their opinion that the bids <br />for the Fire Department pumpers are too high and should be <br />rejected. <br />BIDS REJECTED AND RE -ADVERTISING APPROVED FIRE DEPARTMENT PUMPERS <br />Mr. Farrand made a motion that the bids received;or_ November 1-0_for <br />three F.ire,Department pumpers be rejected. The motion was seconded <br />by Mr. Barcome and unanimously carried. <br />Mr. Farrand made a motion that the Clerk be directed to advertise <br />for bids for three Fire Department pumpers on November 21 and 28, <br />with sealed bids to be opened at the regular meeting of the Board <br />on Monday, December 8, 1975. The motion was seconded by Mr. Barcome <br />and unanimously carried. <br />There being no further business to come before the Special Meeting, <br />upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Special Meeting <br />adjourned at 3:20 p.m. <br />O/A A"�� <br />)Jm�es!Vn .
