McMahon, Manager of the Bureau of Public Construction, <br />submitted a request to the Board to advertise for bids for <br />Century Center Contract CC800 Hollow Metal and CC804 Finish Hardware. <br />Mr. McMahon noted that the original bid received for CC800 Hollow <br />Metal was excessive and that there was no bid received for CC804 <br />Finish Hardware. It was his recommendation that the Board reject <br />the Hollow Metal bid and readvertise for bids for CC800 and CC804, <br />with bids to be received on December 22. Upon motion made, seconded <br />and carried, the Board accepted the recommendation to reject the <br />CC800 Hollow Metal bid and to readvertise for bids for Contracts <br />CC800 Hollow Metal and CC804 Finish Hardware,,with sealed bids to <br />be received jointly by the Board of Public Works and the South Bend <br />Civic Center Building Authority on Monday, December 22, 1975. <br />BOND APPROVED - RAYMOND GUZMAN <br />Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board that <br />a Continuation Certificate for the Excavation Bond of Raymond <br />Guzman d/b/a ABC Plumbing, Inc`.`. has been properly executed and can <br />be approved. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bond was <br />approved to 12/31/76. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED <br />The Street Light Outage report for the period of November 6 through <br />November 11 was received.
