McDaniel Co., Inc.`- Contract CC1502 - Total Net Bid <br />$127,900.00 <br />Koontz -Wagner Electric Co., Inc. - Contract•CC1600 Less Voluntary <br />Alternates 3, 5, 6 and 8, $15,200.00 - Total Net Bid <br />$998,400.00 <br />Indiana Electronic Company - Contract CC1601 - Total Net Bid <br />$84,000.00 <br />REQUEST TO NEGOTIATE PROPERTY SALE OF 239 N.: STUDEBAKER STREET <br />Kathleen Cekanski, Deputy City Attorney, advised the Board that <br />Mr. & Mrs. James Pope had indicated an interest in purchasing -a <br />city -owned lot at 239 N. Studebaker Street. The Board adopted a <br />Resolution authorizing the sale of the property. The Resolution <br />was submitted to the Common Council. The property was then appraised <br />and an offering price set of $575.00. Miss Cekanski prepared a <br />purchase contract for the property and submitted it to Mr. & Mrs. <br />Pope. A letter has been received from Mr. & Mrs. Pope indicating <br />that there is major sidewalk and curb repair work to be done on <br />the property. They have indicated that they would be willing to <br />offer $375.00 for the lot, with the condition that they will <br />' immediately make curb and sidewalk repairs. In conformity with <br />the Municipal Code, the Board is required to request Common Council <br />approval in order to negotiate the sale of the lot for less than <br />the offering price. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the <br />-�, Board authorized -.the Legal Department to prepare a resolution for <br />submission to the Common Council authorizing the Board of Public <br />Works to negotiate the sale of the city -owned property at 239 N. <br />Studebaker Street. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon <br />motion made, seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned at <br />10:50 a.m. <br />s K.
