<br />AUGUST 4, 1975
<br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at
<br />9:30 a.m. on Monday, August 4 by Chairman Rollin E. Parrand. Mr.
<br />Farrand announced that the meeting would recess and move to the 4th
<br />Floor Council Chambers for the opening of the bids for the Century
<br />Center. The meeting reconvened at 9:35 a.m. All members of the
<br />Board were present, as was Deputy City Attorney Kathleen Cekanski.
<br />OPENING OF BIDS - CENTURY CENTER
<br />This was the date set for receiving bids for various contracts for
<br />the construction of Century Center. The Clerk tendered proofs of
<br />publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County
<br />News which were found to be sufficient. The following bids were
<br />opened and publicly read:
