REGULAR MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 21, 1977 <br />advised the Board that Common Council approval would be needed <br />to accept do offer less than the established offering price <br />for the lot. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by <br />Mr. Mullen and carried, the report was filed and the Board <br />accepted the counter-offer of $3O0 for the lot, subject to the <br />concurrence of the Common Council and directed the Legal Department <br />to prepare the necessary resolution and purchase agreement. <br />BOND APPROVED <br />Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board that <br />the bond submitted by United Heating and Plumbing Company was <br />properly executed and could be approved. Upon motion made by Mr. <br />McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the bond was approved. <br />BONDS RELEASED <br />Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board <br />that requests for the release of bonds filed by From Building <br />Company and Ira C. Mast & Son, Inc. had been reviewed. Neither <br />contractor has any outstanding permits and Mr. Andrysiak recommended <br />release of the bonds. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded <br />by Mr. Mullen and carried, the bonds were released. <br />CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE FILED - ZIOLKOWSKI CONSTRUCTION COMPANY <br />A Certificate of Insurance was filed by the Ziolkowski Construction <br />Company and is in compliance with the requirements of the City's <br />insurance carrier. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by <br />Mr. Mullen and carried, the certificate was filed. <br />APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />Michael L. Vance, Deputy City Controller, submitted to the Board <br />Claim Docket Numbers 20339 through 20791 and recommended their <br />approval. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen <br />and carried, the Board approved Claim Docket Numbers 20339 through <br />20791 and directed that checks for payment be issued. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED <br />The Street Light Outage Report for the period November 14 through <br />18 was submitted to the Board, indicating 31 outages. Upon motion <br />made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the <br />report was ordered filed. <br />AGENDA ITEM ADDED - COLGLAZIER TRAILER ON RIVER BEND PLAZA <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, <br />the Board added to the agenda the matter of a proposed vending <br />trailer on River Bend Plaza. Mr. & Mrs. Colglazier, who wish to <br />operate a stand selling pastry, submitted a photograph of the <br />trailer. The Board reviewed the photograph and, upon motion made <br />by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, directed that <br />the Colglazier's be advised that the Board does not feel the unit <br />is aesthetically consistent with the level of exterior design <br />required of licensed vendors on the Plaza. The Board indicated <br />a meeting could be held with the Colglaziers to discuss the matter <br />further if they so desire. <br />
