I az To the Contract Document and Project Specifications for the 1865 ' BERLIN PLACE SITE DEVELOPMENT 116-089 CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA Date: November 14, 2016 To: All holders of the contract document for the above project The items in this addendum are to become a part of the original documents as if included therein. Only the noted items are affected and the remainder of the original contract document is to remain in its entirety. This Addendum modifies the Contract Documents as follows: PART 1 —CLARIFICATIONS PART 2 — SPECIAL PROVISIONS PART 3 — CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS PART 1 - CLARIFICATIONS 1.01. Attached is the sign -in sheet, agenda and meeting notes from the Pre -bid meeting held on November 8, 2016. 1.02. The City of South Bend has scheduled project award for Tuesday, November 22, 2016. PART 2 — SPECIAL PROVISIONS 2.01 SPECIAL PROVISIONS, Page 4, Section XHI, Prosecution and Progress, Section B, Item 3: I. REVISE: Final completion of the project shall be May 1, 2017. 2.02 SPECIAL PROVISIONS, Page 25, Section XLVII , Structure Backfill I. ADD: Structure Backfill shall be used as trench backfill to the top of the storm or sanitary sewer pipe. The remainder of the trench shall be backfilled with INDOT B-Borrow granular fill material, or an approved equal. INDOT B-Borrow, or an approved equal, shall be used as backfill in excavations for Pipe Removal, Structure Removal and Existing Foundation, Debris Removal and Replacement, full depth. 2. ADD: B-Borrow will be paid for at the contract unit price for "B-Borrow....
