The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice <br />in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found <br />to be sufficient. The following bids were opened and publicly read: <br />Jordan Ford - Submitted a letter stating they could not submit a bid <br />at this time because the factory will not guarantee <br />1977 prices. <br />Harold Medow, Inc. Bid was signed by Jack Foster, <br />South Bend, Indiana non -collusion affidavit was in <br />order and a 10% bid bond was <br />submitted. <br />Bid - Net, with trade - $3,201.75 <br />Basney Ford Bid was signed by James Basney, <br />South Bend, Indiana non -collusion affidavit was in <br />order and a 10% bid bond was <br />submitted. <br />Bid - Net - $5,839.55. No trade in valuation was listed. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, <br />the bids were referred to the 'Bureau of Vehicle Maintenance and the <br />Environmental Protection Officer for review and recommendation. <br />
