REGULAR IE,, ETING <br />DECEMBER 20, 1976 <br />Hite Equipment Repair, Inc,,,, Bid was signed by Jerry Greenlee, <br />non -collusion affidavit tiYas in <br />order and a bid bond was submitted. <br />Bid - One new 1977 case 17-24B Rubber Tire Loader $62,170.00 <br />(Less Trade-in Pettibone) 25,487.50 <br />Reid -Holcomb Company, Inc. Bid was signed by R. T. Conant, <br />non -collusion affidavit was in <br />order and a bid bond was <br />submitted. <br />Bid - One new terex rubber tired front end loader, <br />F.O.B. South Bend, Indiana Less Trade-in per <br />addendum one 1963 Pettibone front end loader $48,500.00 <br />MacAllister Machinery Co., Inc. Bid was signed by tin. F. <br />Diehl, non -collusion affidavit <br />was in order and a bid bond <br />was submitted <br />Bid One new Caterpillar 11h.eel Loader, <br />Net, with trade-in $56,840.00 <br />Court Brothers. <br />Deputy City Attorney Georgia Luks reported that the person who <br />signed the bid bond -is not listed as Power of Attorney on the <br />bid bond. tars. Luks recommended the bid not be read. A <br />representative from -Court Brothers was present and took the <br />bid with him. <br />State Equipment Company, Inc. <br />Deputy City Attorney Georgia Luks reported to the Board that the <br />amount was not filled out on the bid bond and recoLuiended to <br />the Board that the bid not be read. <br />The Board concurred with the reconnendation of Mrs. Luks and <br />found the bids of Court Brothers and State Equipment Company, <br />Inc. to be defective and rejected --these bids. Upon motion made <br />by tor. Farrand, seconded and carried, the bids, with the exception <br />of the two rejected, were referred to the Bureau of Streets for <br />review and recommendation. <br />BID OPENING - ONE TON TRUCK, B15REAU OF STREETS <br />This was the date set for receiving bids for one (1)__One 'ton Truck <br />for the Bureau of Streets. The Clergy:. tendered proofs of publica- <br />tion of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News <br />which were found to be sufficient.
