6 <br />REGULAR MEETING DECEMBER 20, 1976 <br />Memove 2 Hour_ Parking Limit at„501 E.,; ILaSalle <br />Upon notion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded and carried, the above <br />traffic control devices were approved. <br />EKCAVATION B014D APPROVED - D014ALD D . 1111=11? <br />The Board received a recommendation from Ray Andrysiak of the <br />Bureau of Engineering recommending the Excavation Bond for <br />Donald D. White°be approved to December 1, 1977. Upon motion <br />made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the <br />bond was approved, <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT°FILED <br />The Street Light Outage report for the period of, December 13 <br />through December 15 was received. The report indicated 40 <br />outages. Upon motion riiade by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Mullen <br />and carried, the report was ordered filed. <br />CLAIMS APPROVED <br />Walter F. Lantz, Chief Deputy City Controller, and Michael L. <br />Vance, City Auditor, submitted to the Board Claim Docket numbers. <br />18410 through 13605 and their recommendation that the claims be <br />approved. Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Mullen <br />and carried, the claims were approved and checks for payment were <br />ordered issued. <br />CHANGE ORDERS - ISLA14D PARK AITD WHITE WATER WAY <br />A change order to the Island Park Development contract, the Hickey <br />Company, Inc., contractor, was submitted to the Board. The change <br />order increases the contract by 1,034.00. Upon notion nade by <br />Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr.•IZullen and carried, the change order <br />was approved. <br />A change order in the -White Water Way contract awarded to The <br />Hickey Company was submitted to the Board. The change order <br />increases the contract by $16,990. This change order was for <br />work covered in the contract specifications but which would not. <br />be defined until an investigation performed as part of the contract <br />was completed. An amount of $20,000 was included in the project <br />budget for this word:. Upon notion made by Mr. Farrand,. seconded <br />by Mr. Mullen and°carried, the Board approved the change order. <br />SOLID WASTE HOLIDAY SCHEDULE <br />The Board received a report from Joe Kuninecz, Manager of the Bureau <br />of Solid Waste, that his Bureau will be working its regular schedule <br />on Friday, December 24, 1976. This schedule will also apply to <br />New Years Day, Monday, January 3, 1977. All routes will be picked <br />as usual. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board <br />filed the report, <br />BID ADVERTISED - BUREAU OF ENGINEERING CAP. <br />Mr. Farrand riade a notion to advertise for bids for a car included <br />in the 1977 Engineer's budget, with bids to be received on <br />January 4, 1977. The motion was seconded and carried. <br />IMPROVEIENT RESOLTUI014 NO. 3437 ADOPTED AND TITLE SHEET SIGITED <br />The title sheet approving the plans for the Crestwood and Edison <br />intersection street improvements was submitted to`the Board. Mr. <br />Farrand r_iade a notion that the Board sign the Title Sheet approving <br />the plans for the Crestwood and Edison improvements.
