Councilmember Gavin Ferlic seconded <br />the motion which carried by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. <br />SPECIAL BUSINESS <br />16 -78 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, <br />PUBLICLY COMMENDING ROD GOODCHILD <br />FOR HIS LEADERSHIP IN PROMOTING <br />LASTING AND MAGNIFICENT TREE <br />CARVINGS IN POTAWATOMI PARK FOR <br />GENERATIONS TO COME <br />Councilmember John Voorde read the entire resolution in full and congratulated Mr. Goodchild <br />for his accomplishments. <br />Mr. Goodchild thanked the Council for the commendation and for all the support the Council and <br />City have given the program. <br />Each Councilmember thanked Mr. Goodchild for his contributions to the City of South Bend. <br />Those from the public wishing to speak in favor of the bill: <br />
