362 <br />REGULAR <br />MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER <br />12, 1983 <br />APPROVE <br />EASEMENT AND RIGHT-OF-WAY <br />- EDWARD ROSE OF <br />INDIANA <br />Mr. Leszczynski presented an Easement secured from Edward Rose <br />of Indiana, an Indiana Limited Partnership, signed by Edward <br />Ravitz, Agent. The _thirty-four (34') foot easement and right- <br />of-way will allow the City, at some future time, to widen <br />Ironwood Drive between Ireland and Ridgedale. Upon a motion <br />made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, <br />the above referred to easement was accepted and approved. <br />APPROVE CONTRACTOR, HOMEOWNER AND LANDLORD AGREEMENTS <br />BUREAU OF HOUSING NEIGHBORHOOD PAINT -UP PROGRAM <br />Ms. Janet S. Holston, Director, Bureau of Housing, presented <br />to the Board for approval the following Neighborhood Paint -Up <br />Program Agreements: <br />CONTRACTOR & HOMEOWNER AGREEMENTS FOR: <br />1. Homeowner: Ada E. Jones <br />Address: 1015 East Miner <br />Contract Price: $135.00 <br />Contractor: Charles Brown Maintenance <br />LANDLORD AGREEMENT FOR: <br />2. Landlord: Alfred L. Winters <br />Address: 506 N. Birdsell <br />Upon a:motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the above Agreements were approved and executed. <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO ERECT TEMPORARY (6 MONTH) MOBILE BAKERY OUTLET <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that Mr. Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager, <br />Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, and Mr. Paul L. Roelke, <br />Building Commissioner, have reviewed the request of.Dr. Robert <br />R. Allen, submitted to the Board on August 29, 1983 regarding <br />the placement of a temporary (6 month) mobile bakery outlet <br />on South Miami Street and recommend approval. Upon a motion <br />made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, <br />the request was approved. Dr. Allen will be instructed to <br />secure the necessary temporary building permit from the <br />Building Department. <br />REQUEST USE OF TEMPORARY OFFICE TRAILER - <br />WHITEFORD NATIONALEASE, INC. (REFERRED) <br />In a letter to the Board, Mr. Dick Scharf, Administrative <br />Manager, Whiteford Nationalease, Inc., 2020 West Sample Street, <br />P.O. Box 76, South Bend, Indiana 46624, requested use of a <br />temporary office trailer at 1900 West Western Avenue. Mr. <br />Scharf indicated that Whiteford needs to move the temporary <br />office trailer to the Western Avenue address and is additionally <br />requesting permission for the move. He stated that the trailer <br />is approximately 24'x44'. The letter further stated that <br />Whiteford wishes to locate this trailer behind the old A&P <br />building and use it as a temporary office or file storage area <br />until their new building is completed. The projected date of <br />completion is December 1, 1983. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the request <br />to use a temporary office trailer at 1900 West Western Avenue <br />was referred to the Building Department and the Bureau of <br />Traffic and Lighting for review and recommendation. The <br />matter of the actual move of the trailer will be addressed <br />after a favorable recommendation is received from the above <br />departments regarding the location of the trailer, and approved <br />by the Board. <br />
