FM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 11, 1983 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Public Words was convened <br />at 9:35 a.m., on Monday, April 11, 1983, by President John E. <br />Leszczynski, with Mr. Leszczynski, Mr. Richard L. Hill and Mr. <br />Joseph E. Kernan present. Also present was Assistant City <br />Attorney Eugenia S. Schwartz. <br />AGENDA ITEM ADDED <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan <br />and carried, a recommendation from the Bureau of Traffic and <br />Lighting was added to the agenda. <br />MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS APPROVED <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan <br />and carried, the minutes of the March 28, 1983, regular meeting <br />of the Board were approved as submitted. Mr. Hill was not <br />present at that meeting and did not vote on this matter. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Kernan, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the minutes of the April 4, 1983 regular meeting of <br />the Board were approved as submitted. Mr. Leszczynski was not <br />present at that meeting and did not vote on this matter. <br />OPENING OF BIDS - STREET MATERIALS FOR STREET DEPARTMENT FOR 1983 <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for <br />street materials for the Street Department for 1983. The Clerk <br />tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune <br />and the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient.
