REGULAR MEETING <br />MARCH 7, 1983 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened <br />at 9:35 a.ri.., March 7, 1983, by President John E. Leszczynski, <br />with Mr. Leszczynski, Mr. Richard L. Hill and Mr. Joseph E. <br />Kernan present. Also presentwasAssistant City Attorney. <br />Carolyn V. Pfotenhauer. <br />MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING APPROVED <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />and carried, the minutes <br />meeting of the Board were <br />on this matter due to his <br />21, 1983 regular meeting <br />AGENDA ITEM STRICKEN <br />Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan <br />of the February 21, 1983, regular <br />approved. Mr. Hill did not vote <br />not being present at the February <br />of the Board. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill <br />and carried, the public hearing onihe Certificate of Public <br />Convenience for Grady Thompson was stricken from the agenda. <br />Mr. Kernan stated that Mr. Thompson is now in compliance with <br />all requirements concerning the Certificate and a public hearing <br />is therefore not necessary. <br />AGENDA ITEM ADDED <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan <br />and carried, the matter of a Revenue Sharing. Intended Use <br />Hearing for the Annual Summer Clean -Up program was added to <br />the agenda. <br />OPENING AND AWARD OF BIDS - SALE OF ABANDONED VEHICLES <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids <br />for the sale of approximately twelve (12) abandoned vehicles, <br />nine (9) of which are valued at over One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) <br />and all of which have been stored at the Hurwich Impoundment Lot, <br />1610 Circle Avenue. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication <br />of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News <br />which were found to be sufficient.
