305 <br />REGULAR MEETING JULY 30,: 19'84 <br />WHEREAS, the property was conveyed for the purpose <br />of developing a multi -story parking facility within <br />five (5) years; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works is not in a <br />position at this timetoproceed with the development <br />of the multi -story parking facility. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND BOARD <br />OF PUBLIC WORKS AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The real property described as: <br />Lots Numbered 50, 51 and 52 as shown on <br />the original Plat of the Town, now City <br />of South Bend <br />be re -conveyed to the South Bend Redevelopment Commission. <br />SECTION II. Parmerlee, Clerk <br />APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CONTRACT & ADDENDA <br />The following Community Development contract and addenda were <br />presented to the Board for approval: <br />CENTER CITY ASSOCIATES <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CAPITAL FUND <br />The targeted goal for this Activity is to assist <br />in two (2) loan projects to businesses located <br />within the City of South Bend. <br />Center City Associates may expend monies for <br />activities under this contract in an amount <br />not to exceed $20,000.00. <br />ADDENDUM I <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC PARKS <br />GENERAL PARK IMPROVEMENTS ACTIVITY <br />Addendum I indicates a change in the targeted goals <br />with the targeted goal for the Kennedy Park Swimming <br />pool being revised from a study to implementation <br />of architectural and engineering redesign work on <br />the Kennedy Park swimming pool. <br />ADDENDUM II <br />BUREAU OF HOUSING <br />PAINT -UP, REPAIR AND WEATHERIZATION PROGRAM <br />Addendum II indicates a change in the cost categories <br />as follows: the eligible costs categories have been <br />established - paint, caulking and other materials <br />necessary for preparation and painting of the <br />exterior surfaces of residential structures; labor <br />costs associated with the preparation of the surface <br />for painting and the actual painting of the exterior <br />of residential structures; contractual costs <br />associated with the completion of minor repairs <br />necessary to prepare the surfaces for painting; <br />mileage reimbursement for paint crew foreman. <br />Additionally, Appendix II will be replaced with <br />a new version. <br />
