<br />REQUEST OF MIRACLE DELIVERANCE FELLOWSHIP CHURCH TO CONDUCT
<br />TENT CRUSADE (JULY 15 - AUGUST 19, 1984) REFERRED
<br />In a letter to the Board, Rev. Lord M. Hunt, President of Miracle
<br />Deliverance Fellowship Church of South Bend, Indiana, 417 Birdsell
<br />South Bend, Indiana, indicated that four (4) area pastors along
<br />with himself are planning another Tent .Crusade at the corner of
<br />West Washington and Grant Streets from July 15 through August
<br />19, 1984. It was noted that this is an annual request with
<br />no complaints received in the past. Upon a motion made by Mr.
<br />Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above
<br />request was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting,
<br />Police Department Traffic Division,.Building Department and
<br />Fire Department for review and recommendation.
<br />APPROVE REQUEST TO CONDUCT ANNUAL NEIGHBORHOOD
<br />BLOCK PARTY - 1800 BLOCK OF WILBER STREET
<br />In a letter to the Board, Ms. Susan M. Farrell, 1842 Wilber
<br />Street, South Bend, Indiana, requested permission to conduct
<br />an annual neighborhood block party on July 4, 1984, from
<br />2:00 to 6:00 p.m. and requested that the 1800 block of Wilber
<br />Street be blocked off. Mr. Leszczynski advised that Mr. Ralph
<br />J. Wadzinski, Manager, Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, has
<br />reviewed this annual request and recommends approval subject
<br />to the maintenance of a ten (10) foot clear and unobstructed
<br />lane for emergency purposes. It was noted that the Petitioner
<br />will be responsible for the closing and opening of the streets
<br />and alleys with barricades to be provided by the Bureau of
<br />Traffic and Lighting. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski,
<br />seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above request was approved.
<br />APPROVE REQUEST TO CONDUCT.BLOCK PARTY - 1500 CATALPA STREET
<br />In a letter to the Board, Mr. Earl Campbell, 1506 Catalpa
<br />Street, South Bend, Indiana, requested that the 1500 block
<br />of Catalpa Street be closed off on July 4, 1984 from 11:00 a.m.
<br />to 7:00 p.m. for a block party. Mr. Leszczynski advised that
<br />Mr. Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager, Bureau of Traffic and Light-
<br />ing, has reviewed this request and recommends approval subject

<br />APPROVE WAIVER OF RIGHTS AND EASEMENTS - MONROE/SAMPLE
<br />Mr. Leszczynski presented to the Board for approval a letter
<br />from Mr. James W. Laskowski, Assistant Controller, The Holladay
<br />Corporation, 404 South Columbia Street, Suite 230, South Bend,
<br />Indiana, on behalf of Park Center Associates requesting a
<br />waiver of rights and easements retained by the City of South
<br />Bend on water, sewer, and drainage on streets and alleys vacated
<br />by the South Bend Redevelopment in E.H. Rush's Fourth Addition,
<br />E.H. Rush's First Addition, Rachel Gallagher's First Addition
<br />and Frantz' Third Addition to the City of South Bend as shown
<br />on a.survey attached to the request. Upon a motion made by
<br />Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the waiver
<br />of rights and easements as requested was approved.
<br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and
<br />carried, the following traffic control device was approved:
<br />INSTALL 15 MINUTE PARKING 6 AM - 6 PM - West side of
<br />100 N. Main, approximately 85' North of Washington.
