EXHIBIT "F" <br />HOLIDAYS <br />For purposes of this Contract, holidays shall be defined as: <br />Fixed Holidays: <br />New Year's Day <br />Martin Luther King Jr. Day <br />Memorial Day <br />Independence Day <br />Labor Day <br />Veteran's Day <br />Thanksgiving Day <br />Day after Thanksgiving Day <br />Christmas Day <br />For the holidays that are on a fixed calendar date and therefore may occur on a day other than a <br />normal workday, a workday before or after the calendar date may be designated as the observed <br />holiday. <br />In addition to the nine designated holidays above, employees may choose one additional floating <br />holiday subject to South Bend Municipal Code Sec. 2-121 (a) which can be any day of the employee's <br />choosing subject to supervisor's pre -approval. <br />This is a total of 10 holidays annually. <br />Page 40 of 53 Pages <br />
