REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 16, 1986 The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:32 a.m. on Tuesday, September 16, 1986, by President John E. Leszczynski, with Mr. Leszczynski and Ms. Katherine G. Barnard present. Board member Michael L. Vance was not in attendance. Also present was Chief Deputy City Attorney Thomas Bodnar. APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING Upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski, and carried, the minutes of the September 9, 1986, regular meeting of the Board were approved. OPENING OF BIDS - L.W.W. CURB IMPROVEMENTS PHASE II PROJECT This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referred to project. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. It was noted that the estimated cost of this project is $60,000.00. The following bids were opened and publicly read: KASER-SPRAKER CONSTRUCTION, INC. BID: $69,440.00 25487 W. St. Rd. 2 P.O. Box 3605 South Bend, Indiana 46619 Bid was signed by Gary L. Spraker, President and Daniel H. Kaser, Secretary, Non -Collusion Affidavit was in order and a 5% Bid Bond was submitted. MURDOCK & SONS CONSTRUCTION, INC. BID: $104,023.00 1320 South Franklin Street South Bend, Indiana 46618 Bid was signed by W. H. Calvin Murdock, President, President and Carolyn Murdock, Secretary, Non -Collusion Affidavit was in order and a 5% Bid Bond was submitted. RIETH-RILEY CONSTRUCTION CO., INC. BID: $72,783.00 P.O. Box 1775 South Bend, Indiana Bid was signed by Richard A. Jankowski, Area Manager, Non -Collusion Affidavit was in order and a 5% Bid Bond was submitted. MC INTYRE & JONES CONSTRUCTION CO., INC. BID: $99,575.00 2526 West 6th Street Mishawaka, Indiana 46544 Bid was signed by Kenneth A.
