Parmerlee, Clerk <br />ADOPTED this 2nd day of September, 1986. <br />APPROVE PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT - MICHIGAN STREET <br />IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that Ziolkowski Construction, Inc., has <br />submitted the Project Completion Affidavit for the above referred <br />to project which indicated a final cost of $927,294.88. Upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and <br />carried, the Project Completion Affidavit was approved and the <br />appropriate three-year Maintenance Bond as submitted was accepted <br />for filing. <br />REQUEST TO PURCHASE CITY -OWNED PROPERTY AT 402 EAST PARIS STREET <br />REFERRED <br />In a letter to the Board, Mr. Theddo Brown, 413 West Colfax <br />Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, indicated that he is interested in <br />purchasing the City -owned property at 402 East Paris Street. <br />Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. <br />Vance and carried, the above request was referred to the <br />necessary City departments and bureaus for a determination as to <br />whether or not the City need retain the lot for any reason. <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS - BID <br />PACKAGES FOR STANLEY COVELESKI REGIONAL BASEBALL STADIUM PROJECT <br />In a letter to the Board, Mr. John E. Leszczynski, Director, <br />Public Works, requested that the Board advertise for various bid <br />packages for the Stanley Coveleski Regional Baseball Stadium <br />Project. Mr. Leszczynski advised that these packages will <br />include concrete, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other <br />miscellaneous items. Upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded <br />by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the request was approved. <br />ACCEPT AND <br />- DISPOSITION P <br />30) DAY NOTICE OF TERMINATION OF LEASE <br />. . <br />In a letter to the Board, Ms. Ann Kolata, Executive Deputy <br />Director, Department of Redevelopment, advised that according to <br />the provisions in the lease entered into on June 2, 1980 between <br />the Department of Redevelopment, City of South Bend and the Board <br />of Public Works, for the above referred to parcels, the lease may <br />be terminated upon thirty (30) days written notice by either <br />party. She further advised that at their regular meeting on <br />August 8, 1986, the Redevelopment Commission put this land up for <br />bid. Therefore, the Department of Redevelopment hereby notifies <br />the City that the lease for Disposition Parcels No. 9-1, 9-8, and <br />9-9 is terminated effective October 4, 1986. Mr. Leszczynski <br />advised that this property is located in the vicinity of the <br />Inwoods Store off Western Avenue. Mr. Vance advised that this <br />property, which is under the control of the Redevelopment <br />Commission, had been leased to the City and was utilized for <br />monthly parking spaces. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Vance, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the thirty (30) <br />day Notice of Termination of Lease for the above referred to <br />parcels was accepted and approved. <br />[1 <br />
