REGULAR MEETING <br />JULY 15, 1986 <br />east/west alley for a distance of 121.8 feet, said Petition filed <br />with the Common Council by Mr. John Sullivan, 1118 East Wayne <br />Street, South Bend, Indiana, Mr. Sullivan has provided the <br />appropriate dedication of additional public right-of-way required <br />by the City at this time. Upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, <br />seconded by Mr. Vance and carried, the Dedication of Public <br />Right -of -Way conveying the following parcel of property to the <br />City was accepted and approved: <br />Beginning at a point on the South line of Lot 139 <br />in Sunnymede 1st Addition to the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana, which point is 37.7 feet west of the <br />southeast corner of said lot 139 thence north- <br />westerly a distance of 7 feet more or less to a <br />point on a line parallel to and 5 feet north of <br />(measured perpendicular from) the south line of said <br />lot which point is 10 feet east of the west line <br />of said lot, thence west along above described <br />parallel line a distance of 10 feet to the west <br />line of said lot thence south-easterly and east <br />along south line of said lot to the point of <br />beginning (containing 50 square feet more or less). <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR <br />- AVON THEATRE BRICK VENEER PROJ <br />BIDS: <br />- STATE THEATRE RE -ROOFING AND MISCELLANEOUS REPAIRS PROJECT <br />In a letter to the Board, Neil A. Shanahan, Manager, Bureau of <br />Public Construction, requested that the Board advertise for the <br />receipt of bids for the above referred to projects. It was noted <br />that the State Theatre Project is a project of the Department of <br />Redevelopment and entails re -roofing and miscellaneous repairs to <br />the State Theatre located at 214-220 South Michigan Street. <br />Further, the Avon Theatre Project entails the construction of a <br />new wall on the south side of the Avon Theatre located on <br />Michigan Street. Upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by <br />Ms. Barnard and carried, the request was approved. <br />APPROVE TITLE SHEET - STATE THEATRE RE -ROOFING AND MISCELLANEOUS <br />REPAIRS PROJECT <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the Title Sheet for the above <br />referred to project was being presented at this time for <br />execution. Upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Ms. <br />Barnard and carried, the above referred to Title Sheet was <br />approved and signed. <br />BLOCK PARTY REQUESTS REFERRED <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that the following block party requests <br />have been received: <br />PETITIONER: <br />Mr. C. Bronicki <br />ADDRESS: <br />930 South 36th Street <br />LOCATION: <br />900 block of 36th Street <br />DATES: <br />Saturday, August 2, 1986 <br />TIMES: <br />9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard <br />and carried, the requests were referred to the Bureau of Traffic <br />and Lighting and the Police Department Traffic Division for <br />review and recommendation. <br />
