REGULAR MEETING JULY 14, 1987 <br />Additionally, upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Mrs. <br />DeClercq and carried, the Loan Agreement and Subordinated <br />Security Agreement for Precision Tool & Die and Design, Inc. were <br />approved and executed. <br />APPROVE AGREEMENT - THADEUS T. ZAKOWSKI - NEW MEMBER OF BOARD OF <br />PUBLIC SAFETY <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that an Agreement with Mr. Thadeus T. <br />Zakowski, a new member of the Board of Public Safety who replaces <br />Stanley M. Przybylinski who passed away on June 2, 1987, was <br />being submitted to the Board for approval and execution. <br />It was noted that the term of the Agreement is July 8, 1987 to <br />December 31, 1987 and provides for compensation in the amount of <br />$3,400.00 per year, payable in equal monthly increments. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Vance, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and <br />carried, the Agreement as submitted was approved and executed. <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 18-1987 - TRANSFER OF TITLE - 2222 <br />LINCOLNWAY WEST (YOUTH SERVICES BUREAU) <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Vance and <br />carried, the following Resolution, transferring real property to <br />the Youth Services Bureau was adopted: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 18-1987 <br />WHEREAS, when the City of South Bend operated the Youth <br />Service Bureau, the Bureau was and continues to be located at the <br />property commonly known as 2222 Lincolnway West, South Bend, <br />Indiana, and more particularly described as follows: <br />Lots 20 and 21 of Jay Miller's addition, <br />commonly referred to as 2222 Lincolnway West. <br />Key No. 18-2031-1021; and <br />WHEREAS, in 1986 the Youth Service Bureau of St. Joseph <br />County, Inc., was incorporated and received not -for -profit status <br />under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue <br />Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the real property commonly known as 2222 Lincolnway <br />West, South Bend, Indiana, is needed by the Youth Service Bureau <br />of St. Joseph County, Inc., to perform the services to the public <br />formerly performed by the Youth Service Bureau of the City of <br />South Bend and any interest of the City of South Bend would be <br />best served by the use of said property by said corporation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works <br />of the City of South Bend that in consideration of One Dollar; <br />($1.00), the City sells the following real estate to the Youth <br />Service Bureau of St. Joseph County, Inc.: <br />Lots 20 and 21 of Jay Miller's addition, <br />commonly referred to as 2222 Lincolnway West. <br />Key No. 18-2031-1021, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said property be removed from <br />the City inventory. <br />ADOPTED this 14th day of July, 1987. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />s/John E.
