APPROVAL OF CLAIMS (CONT.) <br /> <br />CC <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by Mr. Alford <br />OMMISSION APPROVED THE LAIMS <br />O2,2009, <br />SUBMITTED CTOBER AND ORDERED <br />and unanimously carried, the Commission approved the <br /> <br />THE CHECKS TO BE RELEASED <br />Claims submitted October 2, 2009, and ordered checks <br />to be released. <br /> <br /> <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />TC <br />There were no Communications. <br />HERE WERE NO OMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br /> <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Airport Economic Development Area <br /> <br />(1) Lease Termination Agreement (SASCO) <br /> <br />Mr. Inks noted that since the last meeting <br />several things have occurred. <br /> <br />1. Commissioners may have misunderstood <br />his response to a question about when they <br />city last received a payment from SASCO. <br />Mr. Inks responded to what he thought was a <br />question about the Redevelopment Loan <br />payments and said “not since 2001.” Mr. <br />Inks later heard that some Commissioners <br />thought his response concerned the Lease. <br />Accordingly, staff has supplied a listing of <br />payments and dates to our Legal Dept. <br />showing all payments due have been <br />received. There is no payment default on the <br />Lease. <br /> <br />2. TCU has submitted a letter exercising the <br />first 5 year renewal option. <br /> <br />3. TCU has informed us they have a signed <br />agreement for the sale of the Studebaker <br />Parts Inventory and related assets. <br /> <br />4. Our Agreement with TCU has been <br /> 3 <br /> <br />
