REGULAR MEETING <br />DECEMBER 12, 1988 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at <br />9:32 a.m. on Monday, December 12, 1988 by Board President John E. <br />Leszczynski with Mr. Leszczynski, Mrs. Patricia E. DeClercq and <br />Ms. Katherine Humphreys present. Also present was Chief Deputy <br />City Attorney Thomas Bodnar. <br />AGENDA ITEM ADDED <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski <br />and carried, the award of Proposal for Typewriter Maintenance <br />Agreement for a three (3) year period beginning 1/1/89 to <br />12/31/91 was added to the agenda. <br />APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski <br />and carried, the minutes of the regular meeting of the Board of <br />Public Works held on December 5, 1988 were approved. <br />OPENING OF PROPOSALS - PROPERTY AND CASUALTY INSURANCE COVERAGE <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed <br />Proposals for the above referred to property and casualty <br />insurance coverage. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of <br />Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which <br />were found to be sufficient. The following Proposals were opened <br />and publicly read: <br />CASSADY NEESER & BRASSEUR, INC. <br />340 Columbia Place <br />P.O. Box 118 <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Proposal was submitted by Mr. Robert Neeser and is as <br />follows: <br />In response to request for insurance quotations, the <br />ISU/Cassady Neeser & Brasseur Agency is submitting a Property <br />quotation from the Affiliated FM Insurance Company. <br />ANNUAL PREMIUM <br />1. <br />$25,000 deductible on Blanket Amount <br />Items <br />$156,439 <br />2. <br />$50,000 deductible on Blanket Amount <br />Items <br />$118,470 <br />3. <br />$100,000 deductible on Blanket Amount <br />Items <br />$ 80,500 <br />4. <br />$250,000 deductible on Blanket Amount <br />Items <br />$ 55,187 <br />Each of the above optional quotations includes the following <br />additional coverage amounts: <br />$1,000.00 deductibles: <br />- $11137,160 on Studebaker Museum Property <br />$ 182,985 on Scheduled Computers <br />$ 250,000 on Unscheduled P.C. Computers <br />$ 348,892 on Contractors Type Equipment <br />- $ 64,000 Safetyville Equipment <br />- $1,000,000 Valuable Papers at Studebaker Museum <br />$3,510,000 Business Interruption at Two Parking Garages <br />Deductible to be the same as the Blanket Amount <br />Deductible chosen. <br />- $3,000,00 on Owned or Leased Vehicles when on premises <br />owned or occupied - Deductible same as Blanket Amount <br />Deductible Chosen <br />
