Mrs. DeClercq seconded the <br />motion and it carried. <br />Members of the news media inquired why the license application <br />was originally denied by Ms. Humphreys and were advised that Mr. <br />Smith was not truthful in completing the application form in that <br />he did have a prior conviction for felony burglary which he did <br />not indicate. It was also noted that Mr. Smith has applied for a <br />Secondhand Dealers License. As problems existed with parking at <br />the location of the secondhand store, Mr. Smith has apparently <br />dropped pursuit of that license. <br />1 <br />LJ <br />11 <br />
