c; REGULAR MEETING MARCH 28, 1988 NAME: BY: ADDRESS: FOR THE PURPOSE OF SELLING: Paul Gill's 2nd Edition Paul Gill 217 South Lafayette Blvd. Secondhand furniture Mr. Leszczynski further advised that favorable recommendations have been received from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, Department of Code Enforcement, Police Department and Fire Department on the above application. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the above license application was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's office for issuance of a license. APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried, the following six (6) traffic control devices were approved: 1. REMOVAL NO PARKING, REVISED TO OPEN PARKING - 300 LaMonte Terrace, South Side. (Seasonal Signs). 2. REMOVAL OF NO PARKING, REVISED TO 2-HOUR PARKING, 6A-6P - 500 N. Michigan, East Side, North Half Block. (Seasonal Signs). 3. NEW INSTALLATION, HANDICAP ZONE TOW -AWAY ZONE, - 500 N. Main, East Side lst Space North of Marion. (Requested by Mar -Main Apartments). 4. NEW INSTALLATION, 15 MINUTE LOADING ZONE - 304 N. Michigan, 2nd Space North of Michigan. (Requested by Control Data Business & Technology). 5. NEW INSTALLATION, HANDICAP ZONE TOW -AWAY ZONE - 302 N. Michigan, 1st Space North of LaSalle. (Requested by Dr. Sam Katz). 6. TEMPORARY NO PARKING 6A-12P, APRIL 14TH & 15TH - 100-200 N. Niles, 500 E. Washington. (Holding Pattern for School Buses for South Bend Youth Symphony). APPROVE RELEASE OF CONTRACTORS BONDS Mr. Leszczynski advised that Mr. Melvin Humphrey, Engineering Department, has recommended that the Contractors Bonds for the following be released as indicated. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the following Contractors Bonds were released: 1. Douglas G. Deckard Concrete Contractor Eff. 3/31/88 2. The Robert Henry Corporation Eff. 5/5/88 3. Brent Huffman Eff. 5/27/88 FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT A report from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating a total of thirty-nine (39) properties cleaned from March 18, 1988 to March 24, 1988, was submitted. Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the report as submitted was filed. APPROVE CLAIMS Chief Deputy City Controller John D. Leisenring, submitted Claim Docket No. 6128 through Claim Docket No. 6414 and recommended approval. Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the claims were approved and the report filed.
