Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq and carried, the above <br />license application was approved and referred to the Deputy <br />Controller's office for issuance of a license. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys <br />and carried, the following six (6) traffic control devices were <br />approved: <br />1. REMOVAL NO PARKING, REVISED TO OPEN PARKING - 300 <br />LaMonte Terrace, South Side. (Seasonal Signs). <br />2. REMOVAL OF NO PARKING, REVISED TO 2-HOUR PARKING, 6A-6P - <br />500 N. Michigan, East Side, North Half Block. <br />(Seasonal Signs). <br />3. NEW INSTALLATION, HANDICAP ZONE TOW -AWAY ZONE, - 500 <br />N. Main, East Side lst Space North of Marion. <br />(Requested by Mar -Main Apartments). <br />4. NEW INSTALLATION, 15 MINUTE LOADING ZONE - 304 N. <br />Michigan, 2nd Space North of Michigan. (Requested <br />by Control Data Business & Technology). <br />5. NEW INSTALLATION, HANDICAP ZONE TOW -AWAY ZONE - <br />302 N. Michigan, 1st Space North of LaSalle. <br />(Requested by Dr. Sam Katz). <br />6. TEMPORARY NO PARKING 6A-12P, APRIL 14TH & 15TH - <br />100-200 N. Niles, 500 E. Washington. (Holding <br />Pattern for School Buses for South Bend Youth <br />Symphony). <br />APPROVE RELEASE OF CONTRACTORS BONDS <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that Mr. Melvin Humphrey, Engineering <br />Department, has recommended that the Contractors Bonds for the <br />following be released as indicated. Therefore, upon a motion <br />made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, <br />the following Contractors Bonds were released: <br />1. Douglas G. Deckard Concrete Contractor Eff. 3/31/88 <br />2. The Robert Henry Corporation Eff. 5/5/88 <br />3. Brent Huffman Eff. 5/27/88 <br />FILING OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP OF LOTS REPORT <br />A report from the Department of Code Enforcement indicating a <br />total of thirty-nine (39) properties cleaned from March 18, 1988 <br />to March 24, 1988, was submitted. Upon a motion made by Mrs. <br />DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the report as <br />submitted was filed. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Chief Deputy City Controller John D. Leisenring, submitted Claim <br />Docket No. 6128 through Claim Docket No. 6414 and recommended <br />approval. Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. <br />Leszczynski and carried, the claims were approved and the report <br />filed. <br />
