It was noted that on June 5, 1989, Mr. Johnson
submitted to the Board a Petition form requesting this change.
At this time Mr. Johnson relayed to the Board the circumstances
of a recent accident on Michigan Street which he felt was the
direct result of the square parking. He stated that there is a beautiful
brick design that denies approximately ten (10) parking spaces
that could offset the change to slant parking.
Mrs. DeClercq thanked Mr. Johnson for presenting this information
to the Board and advised him that the Board appreciates his
concern and the concerns presented today with be noted in
conjunction with the Petition form recently submitted.
