20 REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 30, 1989 The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:36 a.m. on Monday, January 30, 1989, by President John E. Leszczynski, with Mr. Leszczynski, Mrs. Patricia E. DeClercq and Ms. Katherine Humphreys present. Also present was Assistant City Attorney Marva Leonard -Dent. APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys and carried, the minutes of the January 23, 1989, regular meeting of the Board were approved. OPENING OF BIDS - RENTAL OF NEW UNIFORMS FOR VARIOUS BUREAUS AND DEPARTMENTS WITHIN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND AND FILING OF APPLICATIONS FOR BIDDER QUALIFICATION AS SUBMITTED WITH BIDS This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referred to service. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. The following bids were opened and publicly read: ACE-TEX CORPORATION 1408 Elwood Avenue South Bend, Indiana 46628 Bid was signed by Mr. Charles L. (last name unreadable), Non -Collusion Affidavit was in order and an Official Check from the First of America Bank in the amount of $12,576.20 was submitted.
