120 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 9, 1990 <br />collect data, conduct studies, etc. necessary to secure <br />certification as a FHA lender with intake of applications <br />beginning 1-1-91. The total cost of this activity shall not <br />exceed $30,000.00. <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Ms. Humphreys <br />and carried, the above referred to Contract was approved and <br />executed. <br />APPROVE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS: <br />- HOWARD PARK WALL PROJECT <br />- MADISON - NILES TO EAST RACE PROJECT <br />- VIEWING PARK PROJECT <br />- MORRIS CIVIC PARK PROJECT <br />- CBD SIDEWALKS AND CURBS PROJECT <br />- WEST BANK LIGHTING PROJECT <br />- WASHINGTON - NILES TO HILL PROJECT <br />- NILES AVENUE PHASE IV PROJECT <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that in accordance with the award of <br />on March 19, 1990, for the above referred to projects, the <br />appropriate Construction Contracts have been submitted today <br />Board approval as follows: <br />HOWARD PARK WALL PROJECT <br />Kankakee Valley Construction Company, Inc. <br />$265,000.00 <br />MADISON - NILES TO EAST RACE PROJECT <br />Kankakee Valley Construction Company, Inc. <br />$208,044.45 <br />VIEWING PARK PROJECT <br />Kaser-Spraker Construction, Inc. <br />$258,830.00 <br />MORRIS CIVIC PARK PROJECT <br />Ancon Construction Company, Inc. <br />$505,500.00 <br />CBD SIDEWALKS AND CURBS PROJECT <br />Michiana Paving & Excavating, Inc. <br />$85,964.00 <br />WEST BANK LIGHTING PROJECT <br />Trans -Tech Electric <br />$79,302.50 <br />WASHINGTON - NILES TO HILL PROJECT <br />Michiana Paving & Excavating, Inc. <br />$175,969.10 <br />NILES AVENUE PHASE IV PROJECT <br />Rieth-Riley Construction Company, Inc. <br />$536,124.55 <br />bids <br />for <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, the Contracts, as indicated above, were approved and <br />executed subject to final title transfer of the appropriate <br />property to the Redevelopment Authority.
