REGULAR MEETING <br />JULY 8, 1991 <br />1 <br />13476 $66.00 <br />13563 $66.00 <br />GRAND TOTAL: $1,190.57 <br />OPENING OF QUOTATIONS AND AWARD - SOUTH IRONWOOD PAVEMENT REPAIR <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that this was the date set for the <br />receiving and opening of sealed Quotations for the above referred <br />to project. In response to a question from the news media, Mr. <br />Leszczynski advised that this pavement repair is on South <br />Ironwood just north of Ireland Road. The following Quotations <br />were opened and read: <br />MC_INTYRE - JONES CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC. <br />2526 West Sixth Street <br />Mishawaka, Indiana 46544 <br />Quotation was submitted by Mr. Kenneth A. McIntyre. <br />QUOTATION: $7,495.00 <br />KASER-SPRAKER CONSTRUCTION, INC. <br />P.O. Box 3605 <br />25487 West State Road 2 <br />South Bend, Indiana 46619 <br />Quotation was submitted by Mr. Gary L. Spraker, President. <br />QUOTATION: $8,100.00 <br />ZIOLKOWSKI CONSTRUCTION, INC. <br />1005 South Lafayette Boulevard <br />P.O. Box 1106 <br />South Bend, Indiana 46624 <br />Quotation was submitted by Mr. Richard A. Miller. <br />QUOTATION: $24,570.00 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Humphreys <br />-and carried, the Quotation submitted by McIntyre -Jones <br />Construction Company, Inc.., in the amount of $7,495.00 was <br />awarded. <br />APPROVE CONTRACT - NORWEST BANK - SOUTH BEND HOME IMPROVEMENTS <br />PROGRAM <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that a Contract between the City and <br />Norwest Bank whereby the bank acts as a consortium member for the <br />South Bend Home Improvement Loan Program has been submitted to <br />the Board for approval. Mr. Leszczynski noted that Norwest Bank <br />is the fourth and final bank which completes the consortium for <br />this program. Mr. Leszczynski further noted that the Contract <br />indicates that a total of $5,018.15 will be deposited by the City <br />with the Norwest Bank in conjunction with the South Bend Home <br />Improvements Program. Therefore, Mr. Leszczynski made a motion <br />that the Contract be approved and executed. Ms. Humphreys <br />seconded the motion which carried. <br />APPROVE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CONTRACT <br />Mr- Leszczynski informed the Board that the following Community <br />Development Contract has been presented to the Board for <br />approval: <br />
