76 <br />REGULAR MEETING JUNE 3, 1991 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at <br />9.37 a.m. on Monday, June 3, 1991, by Board President John E. <br />Leszczynski. Also present was Board member Patricia E. DeClercq <br />and Board Attorney Jenny Pitts Manier. Board Member Katherine <br />Humphreys was not in attendance. <br />AGENDA ITEM ADDED <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, one (1) Traffic Control Device was added to the <br />agenda. <br />APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING <br />Upon a motion made by Mrs. DeClercq, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski <br />and carried, the minutes of the regular meeting of the Board held <br />on May 28, 1991 were approved. <br />,APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. DeClercq <br />and carried, the following one (1) traffic control device was <br />approved: <br />NEW INSTALLATION: Stop Sign (24x24) <br />LOCATION: Somersworth & Landsdown <br />REMARKS: Newly constructed street <br />OPENING OF BIDS - TWELVE (12) 10'X7' DUMP BODIES AND TWELVE <br />(12) HOIST ASSEMBLIES <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids <br />-for the above referred to equipment. The Clerk tendered proofs <br />of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the <br />Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. The following <br />bids were opened and publicly read: <br />NEIL'S AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE, INC. <br />62915 Red Arrow Highway <br />Hartford, Michigan 49057 <br />Bid was signed by Mr. Pat Peters, Non -Collusion Affidavit <br />was in order, Non -Discrimination Commitment form was <br />completed and a Cashier's Check in the amount of $4,405.82 <br />'was submitted. <br />BID - <br />Twelve (12) Galion, Model NEAP6 Dump body and hoist package <br />body, Model 408U 10' long x 7' wide inside. 5.5 to 7.5 cubic <br />yard capacity, 2611 sides and 36" ends. Constructed of 8 ga. <br />hi -,resistant steel throughout. Boxed reinforced top rail <br />w/3" wide side board gussets 8 ga. hi -resistant steel floor <br />w/2" side to floor radius. Tailgate completely pattern built <br />with double acting feature fully boxed 8 ga. hi -resistant <br />steel w/2 vertical and 1 horizontal reinforcements. Heavy <br />duty 3-2 hardware. 1/2 x 84" half cab shield. Model U850 C <br />underbody 17 ton hoist less hydraulics.
