Box 87 <br />Elkhart, Indiana 46515 <br />Quotation was signed by Mr. John Bamber, Project Estimator. <br />QUOTATION: $24,934.00 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mrs. Mueller <br />and carried, the above Quotations were referred to the Division <br />of Engineering for review and recommendation. <br />ADOPT RESOLUTIONS: <br />- NO. 48-1992 - ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY FROM THE <br />SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AND <br />- NO. 49-1992 - TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY TO REAL SERVICES, INC. <br />Ms. Ann Kolata, Director of Redevelopment was present and advised <br />that Resolution No. 48-1992 conveys to the City a parcel of <br />property from the Redevelopment Commission. Resolution No. <br />49-1992 conveys this same parcel to Real Services, Inc., who will <br />utilize this parcel along with three (3) others for the <br />construction of a new facility. It was noted that the City may <br />transfer property to a nonprofit corporation in this fashion. <br />Therefore, Mr. Caldwell made a motion that the Resolutions as <br />prepared be adopted. Ms. Mueller seconded the motion which <br />carried and the following Resolution Nos. 48-1992 and 49-1992 <br />were adopted: <br />RESOLUTION 48-1992 <br />.A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY <br />FROM THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment <br />has appropriated and condemned the following -described real <br />property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana:: <br />A lot or parcel of land in the West Half (1/2) of <br />the Northwest Quarter (1/4) of Section No. Thirteen <br />(13), Township No. Thirty-seven (37) North, Range <br />No. Two (2) East, described as follows, viz: <br />Beginning on the West line of South Michigan Street, <br />in the City of South Bend, at the Southeast corner <br />of the Plat of South Bend City, as platted by Samuel <br />Morrison, now within and a part of the City of South <br />Bend; thence running South on the West line of <br />Michigan Street, 35 feet; thence West 10 rods, more <br />or less, to the East line of a public alley; thence <br />North on the East line of said alley, 35 feet; <br />thence East 10 rods, more or less, to the place of <br />beginning, and now known as Lot Lettered A as shown <br />on the recorded Plat of Stull's Third Addition to <br />the City of South Bend. Key No. 18-8004-0192, <br />("Real Property"); and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36-7-14-3 the South Bend <br />Redevelopment Commission ("Commission") is the governing body of <br />the City of South Bend Department of Redevelopment and, pursuant <br />to I.C. 36-7-14-12.2 is authorized to diispose of the Real <br />Property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commission, in Resolution 1120, adopted on <br />December 18, 1992, expressed its desire to convey its interest in <br />the Real Property to the City of South Bend, Indiana; and <br />1 <br />1 <br />
